The purpose of Community Concern Initiative Project is to identify some of the needs in the community and try to do something about it. We can’t ignore our responsibilities for the local community. Since we are a part of the community, we try to take some small actions to help.
Eg: We felt that children in village are at big risk when they go to school, since they need to cross the river. There are very bad types of single bamboo bridges, and even some places no bridges at all. The children sometimes fall and hurt themselves. In the rainy season the children face very high risk. It is a very big need to make bridges, mainly for children and elderly.
LBM's management and our Self Sufficiency Concern leader decided to make a child friendly bamboo bridge over the mentioned place. As a result, presently our children is not under risk anymore when they need to cross the river.
